The Austrian Association for Legal Linguistics (AALL\/\u00d6GRL) develops specialised language sections dedicated to the study of the relationship between language and law in specific linguistic and legal contexts. The sections serve as international platforms for researchers, legal professionals, linguists, translators, public institutions, and students interested in legal linguistics, multilingualism, legal communication, and language rights.<\/p>\n
The language sections are organised according to their year of foundation.<\/p>\n
The Croatian Language and Law Section <\/strong>(Sekzija za hrvatski jezik i pravo<\/em>)\u00a0is a specialised section of the Austrian Association for Legal Linguistics (AALL), established on 1 March 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The section serves as an international forum for researchers, legal professionals, linguists, translators, public institutions, and students interested in the relationship between the Croatian language and the law<\/strong>, both in the Republic of Croatia<\/strong> and in comparative and international contexts.<\/p>\n Our mission is to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and cooperation in areas including but not limited to:<\/p>\n The section encourages collaboration between academia, legal practice, public authorities, and language institutions, creating opportunities for networking, research, and the exchange of ideas.<\/p>\n Particular emphasis is placed on the role of the Croatian language within the European legal order and on promoting linguistic diversity in accordance with Article 22 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Croatian Language and Law Section welcomes members and collaborators from Croatia and abroad who share an interest in advancing scholarship and practice at the intersection of language and law.<\/p>\n The Austrian Association for Legal Linguistics is gradually expanding its network of language-specific sections dedicated to legal linguistics. Alongside the Croatian Language and Law Section, work is currently underway to establish the Serbian Language and Law Section<\/strong>, with additional language sections planned in the future to strengthen international cooperation and comparative legal linguistic research.<\/p>\n Sekcija za hrvatski jezik i pravo<\/strong> specijalizirana je sekcija Austrijskog dru\u0161tva za pravnu lingvistiku (Austrian Association for Legal Linguistics \u2013 AALL), osnovana 1. o\u017eujka 2026. godine.<\/p>\n Sekcija djeluje kao me\u0111unarodni forum za istra\u017eiva\u010de, pravnike, jezikoslovce, prevoditelje, predstavnike javnih institucija i studente zainteresirane za odnos hrvatskoga jezika i prava, kako u Republici Hrvatskoj tako i u usporednom i me\u0111unarodnom kontekstu.<\/p>\n Cilj Sekcije jest promicanje interdisciplinarnoga dijaloga i suradnje u podru\u010djima koja uklju\u010duju, me\u0111u ostalim:<\/p>\n Sekcija poti\u010de suradnju izme\u0111u akademske zajednice, pravne struke, tijela javne vlasti i jezi\u010dnih institucija te stvara prostor za umre\u017eavanje, istra\u017eivanje i razmjenu znanja i iskustava.<\/p>\n Poseban naglasak stavlja se na ulogu hrvatskoga jezika u europskom pravnom poretku te na promicanje jezi\u010dne raznolikosti u skladu s \u010dlankom 22. Povelje Europske unije o temeljnim pravima.<\/p>\n Sekcija za hrvatski jezik i pravo otvorena je svim \u010dlanovima i suradnicima iz Hrvatske i inozemstva koji \u017eele pridonijeti razvoju znanstvenih istra\u017eivanja i stru\u010dne prakse na sjeci\u0161tu jezika i prava.<\/p>\n Austrijsko dru\u0161tvo za pravnu lingvistiku postupno pro\u0161iruje svoju mre\u017eu jezi\u010dno usmjerenih sekcija posve\u0107enih pravnoj lingvistici.
